Hills Wheels & Tyres

A criticism has its pros and cons period so please do not get upset by my review. Please understand this is with no intention of upsetting you. As this 3rd party affiliated with Afterpay keeps asking me for a review. It's ok. I was expecting a lot more would have been done as the initial work asked for was not all addressed or not looked at but thanks for foxing the enginemount bracket. According to the work breakdown and cost 1st visit was within the week and they had more than 2 weeks to make sure all was good when I was ready to collect it it added up to $686 with the terminal fee afterward. Then on that same Saturday 2nd visited to fix that white smaller and ringing noise in the engine just short of $900 with other things they did as safety checks as well like checking for the brake fluid leak. They told me, not seen them on that 1st visit. On my 2nd visit within the week, the brake fluid was sort of sighted but not fixed. I have to come back for that another time. Other than that 2nd visit addresses the clinging or sluggish performance of the engine. Which I thought would have been communicated to me if that extra job was needed then. Only for me to find out when I collected it 1st time it is what it is. I left the car with them so they were not pressured to do it so quickly because I knew they were busy with other repairs. The engine performance is back to normal now after 2nd visit which I also paid for. The white smoke disappears after the throttle is cleaned out. However bit pricey. So it's a matter of what you can afford for repairs. Then come to them if you want to pay the premium, by the way, the other advantage they have is even if they bit pricey they at least have multiple sources of payment options. Zip, afterpay, and Humm through another 3rd party provider. Which helps break down the cost over time. Not all mechanic has these option. So if you expecting a major repair on your car and would like to use the instalment option like afterpay then come here.
