The service purchased was ‘Engine Light On Inspection’ for $99.00. The inspection disclaimer states, “ If additional repairs are needed a quote will be provided by the supplier and will be at an additional cost. ” and that, “ the cost is payment for the inspection to take place and the report to be generated.” At the time of submitting the online booking, I added the following in the comment section. “ Spanner light underneath the engine light comes on occasionally and the brakes on occasion become really stiff momentarily, easing up again soon after.”An inspection took place and a report was generated advising “brake performance extremely dangerous due to brake booster branch hose broken.” I was then told that further inspection wasn’t possible due to the brake issue, leaving the question of why the engine light is on, unanswered. No quote or offer to fix the brakes so that they could get to the reason I took the car there in the first place, so I felt a little short-changed. The engine light is still on and so will need to seek service elsewhere again.
