I was annoyed that communication happened over SMS. The mechanics had to charge parts and just send me a text saying here are the parts and this is what it costs. It felt very impersonal and no discussion about why the parts were needed. Before this exchange, I had not dealt with the mechanic before so when they just tell me these parts are going to cost 2 x the cost of the service that made me annoyed. The other element was when I picked up my car. They pointed to a direction over the road where my car was parked. I had to walk over and find it myself. What would have been good is if someone could run over and collected the car and brought it over. Just simple customer service would not have left me with a bad taste in my mouth.
