I got my turbo fixed for $5,550, I had to pay an extra $2.500 as I had insurance through AWN Insurance, the minute I took the car out of the work shop, my car was worse and was jerking between 35/55 km an hour. Neil Gaad said that wasn't his problem, it's now the Auto transmission, I was very up set by this and took it to another mechanic in Ballarat where he said he wasn't sure it was the transmission, and asked what did Neil Goad charge me for the turbo, I said just under $5,500 he said that's a ridiculous price and should have only been $3,000. , that up set me big time. So this week my car is now jerking constantly and now a symbol of a car with road tracks on it, has turned up. I then took it to another mechanic where he said there were still issues with the turbo. Take it back and get it fixed. I did take it back, explained all the issues i have had since the turbo was fixed. The mechanic fixed the new issue and told me it was a burnt out cord, and then changed me another $589, for 3.5 hours labour at $145 an hour and the part was $81, I was so up set, i had to find more money and the mechanic was not very nice after I didn't want to pay, and just said it had nothing to do with the turbo. Which I don't believe, and that I couldn't take the car out until it was paid for. Bad service, rude mechanics, no consideration for there customers. Also when I first met Neil Goad I asked should I drive it before I got the service, he said THAT'S WHY YOU HAVE RACV.. very rude, i would not bag you ever but if I had a choice I wouldn't go back. Sorry.
