We’re sorry you feel this way, but we would like to clarify the facts of your visit. Your vehicle was brought to us on a tow truck in extremely poor condition — completely dismantled on the inside and underneath, with critical components missing. The car had no power and no compression. It was evident from the beginning that this was not a typical repair job but rather a vehicle in near-salvage condition. Our initial check showed that the engine had no compression, and based on the condition of the vehicle, we advised that it may not be worth pursuing repairs. While you asked about the cost to fix it, we never charged you anything for our time or inspection — even though we did spend time assessing the vehicle. We never intended to mislead or "scam" anyone. Your claim that we based our diagnosis only on turning the key is simply not true. Our assessment was based on professional inspection, but due to the condition of the car and the number of missing parts, we suggested you return the car to its source. Also, please note that we never promised a specific timeline. The vehicle was left here without prior appointment, and we informed you that we would look into it when time permitted — which we did. We understand that automotive issues can be frustrating, but false accusations are unfair to businesses that try to help, especially when no payment was ever requested or taken. We stand by our diagnosis and by the way we handled your vehicle — professionally, honestly, and without charge.
Dear Puneet K, We’re sorry to hear that you were not fully satisfied with your recent experience. However, we would like to clarify a few important points regarding your concerns. Our team informed you multiple times over the phone about the cost involved in replacing the complete oil filter housing, which also included the oil cooler. We also showed you the prices of the parts before proceeding. Please note that we did not charge you any labour costs for the job, a significant saving that we extended to you as part of our effort to provide value. We understand it’s disappointing to receive criticism after making every effort to be transparent and cost-effective. The replacement involved components located under the inlet manifold, and this is not a simple or inexpensive job. We encourage you to check with other reputable mechanics to compare the total cost of parts and labour for the same work. If you genuinely find a lower price for the same service and components, we would be happy to discuss a refund, although we are confident that the discount we provided offers excellent value. We appreciate your feedback and are always striving to serve our customers better. If you'd like to discuss this further, feel free to contact us directly.
Hi Ron, Thank you for your feedback, and we're genuinely sorry to hear about your experience. Unfortunately, your vehicle model can come with several different types of side mirrors, some with cameras, some with blind spot sensors, and others without either. At the time of your booking, we based our preparation on the information that was provided by you, but sometimes the registration number alone doesn’t give us the full specifications of the part required. We had a mirror ready for installation on the day you came in, but once we saw the vehicle, we realized it wasn't the correct version. Had we received the exact specifications earlier, we would have been able to complete the job the same day. The delay was due to the difficulty in sourcing the correct side mirror locally, especially one with a built-in camera. While some were available interstate, we were fortunate to find the right part within Victoria, though it still took some extra time to arrive. We appreciate your patience, and we're sorry again for the inconvenience. If there's anything more we can do to assist or improve your experience, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
