Good customer service and mechanics, but previous repair was not fully performed properly which resulted in a rumbling sound when driving, and had spent over $2k on repairs. Was given an overall list of repairs and I calculated that I'd need to spend another $2k+.
Hi Sean, Thank you for taking time out to write us a critical review, and for sharing your thoughts here. As your vehicle had received extensive damages to the left side, it was a process of elimination to fix the steering problem, tackling a few things at a time as we wanted to minimise the cost of repair by not needlessly quoting on replacing every single part. With that mindset, when we replaced the damaged parts related to your steering system on the left-hand side of the vehicle, we had eliminated the noise at the time. When you returned 3 months later for a car service, you reported to us that the steering sound had returned, and we investigated and found that the right-hand wheel bearing is now causing noise which we previously didn't detect. We apologise for not quoting for the replacement of this part on your previous visit, we honestly thought that it was in good order and we didn't want to make you spend needlessly. In regards to the service report and quotation for your recent visit, only 1 item was related to the steering noise. Everything else quoted was for general maintenance and is related to your car service. They are optional replacements for consumables that cars usually go through (such as wipers, filters, and fluids), and are not related to the previous repair and the steering noise. We apologise for any confusion caused, and we're sorry if we were not clear. Once again, thank you so much for leaving us a review.
