Sunshine Toyota is a family owned Toyota dealership at 689 Nicklin Way, Currimundi, on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. The site takes in new and pre-owned vehicle sales, a service workshop, a parts and accessories department and finance and insurance, and it has been looking after Sunshine Coast drivers for more than 25 years. Around 85 staff work across the dealership, and the red and white hibiscus branding and the Feelin' Good Now line are well known locally.

Which Toyota vehicles are available?

The showroom covers the current Toyota range, from the Yaris, Corolla and Camry through the RAV4, Corolla Cross, Yaris Cross, C-HR, Kluger, Fortuner, LandCruiser Prado and LandCruiser 300, to the electric bZ4X and bZ4X Touring. On the working side there is the HiLux, LandCruiser 70 Series, Tundra, HiAce van and Coaster bus, and the GR performance models including GR Yaris, GR Corolla and GR86. Toyota Certified Pre-Owned, used and demonstrator vehicles are stocked as well.

What servicing and repairs are carried out?

The workshop carries out Toyota Genuine Service, with Toyota trained technicians, genuine parts and the manufacturer's maintenance intervals followed, which keeps the factory warranty and the vehicle's service record in order. New Toyota vehicles come with capped price servicing for a set period, so the cost of each logbook service is known in advance. General and logbook servicing is available for all makes and models, not only Toyota, and the team also handles mechanical repairs, brakes, tyres, wheel alignments and suspension repairs.

Dealer Principal Ryan O'Connor leads the business and has a long connection with Toyota on the Sunshine Coast. The senior management team has been in place for more than a decade and many staff have been with the dealership for years, so customers tend to deal with the same faces across sales, service and parts over time.

Business and fleet vehicles are looked after through Toyota for Business, with vehicles supplied to suit the work they do and servicing handled by technicians who deal with commercial vehicles regularly. HiLux, HiAce, LandCruiser and Coaster models are all supplied and serviced from Currimundi.
