Five stars for workmanship one star for pricing transparency. I got a individualised quote to replace my thermostat housing and once my car was with them the price increased by 50% to over $1000.
Hi Luke Thank you for your review. We provided an estimate as they were many options and we did not diagnose or see the vehicle prior to the booking. 24 hours prior to your booking once we seen the part required. We provided you with a fixed quote and gave you the option to proceed or not with no obligation to do so. Unfortunately only genuine parts were available at the time of repair which increased the price. We completed the job within that day at a discount of over $200 of what the job should have cost. You also told us that we were $700 cheaper than another quote you received. We pride ourselves on transparency and honour all written quotes. Unfortunately as we did not see our diagnose the issue we provided you with an estimate which was subject to change. Thanks Sm Mechanical
