Nova Auto Innovations Belmont is a mechanical workshop at 385 Pacific Highway, Belmont North, on the eastern side of Lake Macquarie in the Hunter region. What servicing and repairs do they carry out?

Routine maintenance and logbook servicing make up much of the everyday work, with logbook services completed to the manufacturer's schedule so a factory warranty is not affected. Beyond that the team handles engine and transmission servicing, brake and clutch repairs, shock absorber and suspension work, and auto air conditioning service and repairs. Every vehicle is inspected before any work begins, which lets them set out what genuinely needs attention and what can be left, before a job is agreed.

Rego checks are available and are done by qualified authorised inspectors. In New South Wales most light vehicles over five years old need an inspection report before registration can be renewed, so having the check and any repairs it turns up handled in the same place keeps it to a single visit rather than two.

What equipment do they have in the workshop?

They run modern diagnostic scan equipment alongside on-car engine decarbonising, diesel particulate filter cleaning and injector cleaning systems. Scanning reads the fault codes held in a vehicle's computer, which surfaces problems that would not show up in a physical inspection, particularly on newer cars where so much is managed electronically. Having the cleaning systems on site means carbon build-up and blocked injectors can be treated in the workshop as part of the job.

Their team includes qualified performance mechanics, and auto-tuning support is offered alongside the general mechanical work. That side of the business is aimed at drivers who take an interest in how their vehicle responds rather than simply whether it starts.
