I appreciated the help in getting a time 'first thing' as I needed the car mid-morning. What I don't understand is: There was no summary of how the car was, if anything was done or whether the tyre pressure was checked and equalised. This is standard in a service. Also when we need the next one. The reported problem of the auto release of the boot (using the key was met with a " you need to call Eagars'. If there was a new update coming in a couple of weeks, why I was not told. There was no rush to get this service and now I have to go back to mycar to get the update. It may be 15-30 inutes but it is a couple of hours at least out of my day. This raises a fundamental problem. I believed my car was being serviced on behalf of BYD. In reality, it was plugged into a computer and any detailed information or problems should be via Eagars. So why was I not given the opportunity to go to the 'real' service center and not a sub-agency? My car has had its scheduled 3-month service but it seems less in quality to a service with the dealership. This is a problem that needs addressing. It is not a good look.

They seem not to know anything about the software upgrade, what it fixes and not. They just apply it and hope that the software issue goes away. Quite incompetent. The 1st 5k service is free but with the 2nd service, it will be paid. I wonder what I am paying for if they say they don’t know how to fix things.
