Required extra jobs not carried out on the day so had to return and leave car another 3 hours following day. Chap at desk said he tried to phone earlier but this was not the case as my phone only went as I was walking in the door to collect car. Second day I asked for some oil to be put on the hinge of back the door but this was not done.

The software was reset and Android Auto was removed.

Really good actually. The guy who met me at the counter knew who I was, had the paperwork ready to sign, and clearly indicated when my car would be ready. Very friendly and professional. Won me over. The guy who handed me my car was also professional, friendly, and organised. Excellent experience all around. Thank you.

BYD booked in for 4 hours for 5000 km service. Car was in workshop for 1hr 15 min. Bonnet open for 2 mins, windscreen fluid topped up. Software version when I picked up the vehicle was the previous version to the one which was installed when I dropped off the vehicle. I had to re-install the latest version through OTA. Time on the central screen was set to incorrect zone (Eastern Standard Daylight Saving Time). All settings on the software were lost including bluetooth pairing of phones and Navigation settings. No paperwork was received telling me what had been done for the service.

Friendly service and prompt, the only thing that hopefully could be improved on in the BYD information system, it was reverted back to an older version than when I purchased the vehicle from the supplier. I thought if anything the service would make sure everything is up to date. A lot of the OTA updates are to improve safety features in the system.

Very helpful with the explanation for work being done. Advised of any further work necessary to be completed at a later date. Servicing was completed within the time specified. Altogether a very satisfying experience.

The front desk staff were friendly, approachable and happy to answer my questions.

Not too long to wait. Cup of coffee in Joondalup and a wander around and the car was done.
