I found Motorpoint online and spoke to them prior to traveling across to the workshop. The manager was very helpful and outlined the RWC assessment in a clear and concise manner. Following the assessment, he recommended a repairer who was able to complete all structural repairs to the front end of the vehicle. He also located other car parts and we agreed on a quote that didn’t change once work had been completed. Trust and transparency were the key to this exchange.

Hi, Amirah we are sorry that you had a bad experience with us. According to our record, we did an alternator job on 7/7/2023 for a Holden Captive Diesel. We found that there was a missing bolt from the alternator which was misaligned, and therefore the car was driven with a loose alternator. As a result, the vehicle stopped and damaged the alternator. We also found plenty of problems with your car which we have informed you about. You told us that a mobile mechanic replaced the alternator at your home a few months ago.
