I have had a general service as well as a pink slip inspection. They tend to puff repair costs by luring customers offering the cheaper general service. My pink slip had failed, but I took the car to another garage that have happily signed off with replacing the backlight, which they have even missed. All items listed up by Midas was exaggerated to make my pink slip inspection fail. I am happy to pay more for the general service avoiding a lot of unnecessary fine prints or forced repairs. Lesson learnt for me.
