I took my car to KAR Auto Services to have the ignition barrel fixed, they replaced the whole steering column however as I was driving home I noticed the cruise control wasn't working. To be safe I had my daughter check the brake lights indicators etc everything was working other than the cruise control. I took the car back to KAR, they put my original steering wheel back on the car but called to tell me the reason the cruise wasn't working was because my brake lights weren't working. I disagreed with that as we had checked them the day before but they insist that the brake lights weren't working when I dropped my car off and I would have to pay another $200 for 2 brake switches. I've had an auto electrician look at the car and the brake switches are fine but there's no power to the wire NOT the switches. Upon checking the relays under the bonnet the auto electrician also saw the starter relay casing had been removed and the copper wires were exposed, when he touched the exposed relay the car started but the keys were not in the ignition they were in my hand. I now have to purchase a new starter relay and pay the auto electrician to fix the problems that KAR has caused. I will NEVER use KAR again and I will not recommend them to anyone. I am absolutely disgusted with these people, I'm disgusted by the way they have conducted themselves and I am disgusted with the lack of care for my vehicle.
