Hycraft Automotive is a locally owned and operated workshop at 63 Snook Street, Clontarf, on the Redcliffe peninsula in Queensland's Moreton Bay region. They have been servicing and repairing vehicles from the same part of the world since 1977, working on all makes and models, and they are an independent workshop backed by the Repco Authorised Service network, which means their work is carried out to nationally accredited standards and covered by a nationwide warranty on parts and labour of 12 months or 20,000km, whichever comes first.

Their workshop covers brakes and clutch repairs, steering and suspension, air conditioning service and repair, auto electrical work and diagnostics, and battery testing and replacement. Tyres, wheel alignment and wheel balancing are all done in house. They also carry out 4WD servicing and repairs, and they work on small caravans and trailers as well as light and medium trucks, so a household with a tow vehicle and a van can have both looked after by the same team.

Do they issue safety certificates?

Yes. Hycraft Automotive carries out Queensland safety certificate inspections for vehicles being sold or brought back into registration, and they also handle certificate of inspection work for taxi, limousine and rideshare vehicles. Any repairs identified during an inspection can be completed at the same workshop.
