I was really impressed with the car service I had at THL auto, they are very professional and friendly. They are  detailed in explaining what they are doing and taking photos to show what problems there were with my car. I will be back soon as I haven’t had a service in a long time so there is quite a bit of work to be done on my car but I will happily go here again. They even vacuumed and cleaned my tyres, I’ve never had that at a mechanics before.

Was told that I would be notified, once the problem was diagnosed, and I would be informed of the cost. I was not notified, I did not receive any calls, car was fixed without any consultation.

I live 600 km from Augusta Motor Co service centre and after booking my car in for the 60K service I have to come back again for the car to be put in again for a seal to be replaced under warranty. This will be another cost of fuel for 1200kms, 2 nights accommodation as it will take all day again, plus meals and dog kennel fees plus another 2 days off work at an additional personal cost of over $1,000. After having the car for a whole day I would have thought a seal could have been done as part of a $1,500 major service. I was disappointed to be charged an extra $88 for an air filter on top of the $1,500. I felt it was an upsell like McDonalds. Would you like clean air with that?

Very friendly service but very disappointed as I told them what I needed done 2 weeks before I took the car in. I was told around 2 hours wait, so I dropped the car at 11.30 and got a lift back at nearly 1.30 and my car was still exactly where I left it. They started it and it wasn't ready till around 3.30 and the few things I wanted done over the service couldn't get done as no time. I have to rebook it in which is hard as this car I use as wheelchair car as my husband has a traumatic brain injury and requires 24 hour care.

The young man who came to assist me when my vehicle broke down was very good.  However, I was quoted $700 but when I was sent the bill it was $890 when I called and asked about the difference he denied quoting me $700 and told me it was $900 he reviewed it and charge me $830.40 which I had to pay on the afterpay system.  He wasn't helpful and very dishonest.  I will never use them ever.  Bad customer service and dishonest.  It would be my first and last time ever.

The whole deal with the roadworthy guy working at a different location was annoying and caused it to take a while b4 I could get any definitive answer on when I could get the car back, an each te I called an asked it was pushed back longer an longer, other than that I've been fairly happy with the work done to my car an for a reasonable price.

Always has a nice greeting and gets the car done asap.
