Coasteer Automotive is a mechanical workshop and GVM upgrade centre in Tuggerah
Coasteer Automotive is a locally owned and operated mechanical workshop at unit 1, 3 Fleet Close, Tuggerah, New South Wales, serving drivers across the Central Coast since 2007. What started as a small community garage has grown into a full service workshop that handles all makes and models, and they run the Climax Suspension Central Coast side of the business from the same premises. They are members of the Motor Traders Association and the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association.
What servicing and repairs do they provide?
Logbook servicing is carried out to manufacturer specifications, which keeps a new vehicle warranty valid, and general servicing covers the vehicles that have moved beyond their logbook schedule. Repair work takes in brakes, exhausts, radiators and cooling systems, transmissions and suspension, and they also do EFI tuning. Diagnostic testing is used to read fault codes and scan vehicle systems so a fault is identified before parts are replaced.
What inspections can they carry out?
The workshop is an authorised inspection station and carries out registration inspections, including pink slip e-safety checks for vehicles due for renewal. Any repairs needed to bring a vehicle up to standard can be completed at the same workshop, so an inspection that turns up a problem does not mean a second trip somewhere else.
What suspension and GVM work do they specialise in?
Suspension is a particular strength through Climax Suspension Central Coast, covering everything from replacing worn shock absorbers and springs on a road car to setting up a 4WD for load carrying and touring. They are one of the few workshops on the Central Coast able to carry out formal GVM upgrades on site, which raises a vehicle's legal gross vehicle mass rating, and they are a stockist for suspension and accessory brands including EGR and Offroad Industries products.
Do they work on classic and collector cars?
Classic and collector vehicles are welcome at the workshop and are a regular part of the work, which suits owners who want repairs and servicing done carefully on an older car rather than treated as a routine job.
What do they offer fleet operators?
Fleet servicing is one of the services they provide for businesses across the Central Coast, covering scheduled servicing, registration inspections, repairs and suspension or GVM work on utes and light commercials that are carrying weight every day.
Coasteer Automotive has been servicing, repairing and upgrading Central Coast vehicles since 2007.
