I have been taking my car to be serviced by John at AutoMaster on Albany Highway for a while but no more- it is very disappointing !! Last week I bought a new car 2010 Honda Civic and had it checked by an experienced mechanic. He said it was in good condition but due for a service and there was a small leak around the power steering pump which he said was most likely the O rings on the pressure hose. John told me the pump needed replacement and they would replace it with a reconditioned pump. I was charged $995 and agreed as I don’t know about cars. My friend got a quote from another supplier in Bibra Lake and they recondition the pump and labour with genuine Honda oil for a maximum cost of $500 wow that is a huge difference. I feel like I have been taken advantage of. To make things much worse I pick up the car and there is a 40cm long crack in the windscreen which was not there when I drop off in the morning- I was very upset but they refuse to take any responsibility to fix it. Eventually, we went back and John said he would contact his insurance company, the service is so bad I am extremely disappointed ☹️ I will never be going back - be warned John's attitude was not acceptable at all. So rude and talk down to me. Dishonest, overcharged, unethical. Terrible.
