Active Auto Ace is a family owned mechanical workshop in North Lakes

Operating from 2/51 Cook Court, North Lakes, Active Auto Ace looks after drivers across the Moreton Bay region on Brisbane's northside. The workshop is family owned and locally run, set up to handle everything from routine servicing through to safety certificates, air conditioning work and general mechanical repairs. Their approach is straightforward and community minded, identify the problem, explain it clearly, and get the vehicle running properly again.

What servicing does Active Auto Ace offer?

Logbook servicing is a core part of their work, carried out to keep a vehicle running to manufacturer requirements so a new car warranty stays protected. Alongside this they provide general servicing to keep vehicles reliable between scheduled intervals. For local drivers, it means routine maintenance and more involved repairs can be handled by the same trusted workshop rather than split across several.

Can they issue a safety certificate?

Yes. Active Auto Ace carries out roadworthy inspections and can issue the Queensland safety certificate required when selling or re-registering a vehicle. They also offer pre-purchase inspections, giving buyers an independent assessment of a vehicle's condition before they commit, which is a genuinely useful safeguard against inheriting someone else's problems. Because their full repair capability sits alongside both, anything identified during an inspection can be rectified in the one place.

What air conditioning work do they carry out?

Air conditioning is a specific strength, with the team offering both air conditioning regas and air conditioning diagnostics. Rather than simply topping a system up, diagnosing the underlying fault means leaks and failing components are properly identified, which matters in the Queensland climate where a working system is more a necessity than a luxury.

What repairs can they handle?

The workshop takes on brake repairs to keep this critical safety system performing as it should, along with general mechanical repairs across a broad range of faults and components. Whether it is something picked up during a service, a fault that has developed over time or an issue found during an inspection, the team is equipped to diagnose and put it right.

Why choose Active Auto Ace?

As a family owned local business, they offer the kind of personal service and accountability that comes from dealing directly with the people working on the vehicle. Bringing servicing, safety certificates, inspections, air conditioning and mechanical repairs together under one roof means North Lakes drivers can keep everything with a single workshop they trust.

With logbook and general servicing, safety certificates, pre-purchase inspections, air conditioning expertise and mechanical repairs, Active Auto Ace offers North Lakes dependable, family run vehicle care.

Lovely bloke and the price was good. Car worked before the service. Csr still works. Sadly, I told him on drop-off that I desperately needed the car before 2pm at the latest, and he badly dropped the ball. The car was still on the hoist at 2:30pm. I appreciated that he was very honest, put his hand up and admitted fault. Nonetheless, it really threw me and my 5yo daughter out (I needed the vehicle for school pickup).

Reply from Active Auto Ace North Lakes

Hey James, Thankyou for your ongoing support through our mobile servicing and being one of our first customers down at the new shop! Thankyou for also being reasonable about the pickup time drama! We’re still working through some teething issues with the new setup. Thanks
