Ampol partners with AutoGuru to help businesses save on servicing and repairs.

Ampol has partnered with AutoGuru, Australia’s leading booking site for automotive servicing and repairs, to help tens of thousands of Australian businesses access fleet discounts via AmpolCard.
AmpolCard, which will be replacing StarCard over the next two years, is known for giving Australian businesses access to the country’s largest petrol and convenience network of more than 1,900 sites. They also provide access to exclusive savings through partnerships with local companies.
The partnership with AutoGuru expands AmpolCard’s service and repair network to 5,000 auto repairers with hundreds of workshops continuing to sign up.

Authorised AmpolCard holders simply need to show their AmpolCard or StarCard at any approved OEM Dealerships, major groups like Bridgestone Select, Bob Jane T-Marts, Beaurepaires, Goodyear Autocare, Dunlop Super Dealers and Ultra Tune as well as independent repairers which can be found by visiting Ampol.com.au.
When an AmpolCard holder shows their card to an approved repairer, the Service Manager knows they must seek preapproval from AmpolCard’s Maintenance Authorisation Team which AutoGuru now manages. This team of Fleet Controllers ensures that all quotes adhere to pre-negotiated fleet rates and manufacturers recommendations with no unnecessary additives and inclusions added.
“Fleet controllers are commonly used by large fleet management organisations and corporate fleets to monitor fleet work and tightly manage costs, and the fact that AmpolCard provides this level of service gives business owners peace of mind knowing they’re getting everything they should be, with no nasty surprises,” Says Shirley.

The second phase of the partnership will integrate AmpolCard as a payment option into AutoGuru.com.au, so cardholders can instantly book servicing and repairs online at their convenience.
