Very professional and friendly, did a thorough service at a very fair price. The most clean and tidy workshop I've seen which shows attention to detail, great to see. Will use their services again.

Booked in for a 130-dollar fuel filter change. An extra $65 of labor was added for fuel filter bracket repair. I was not advised of the additional labor charge, only $100 to repair a hose which I agreed to. Expected $230 only to be charged. An extra $65 for a bolt on the bracket was not mentioned at any time, even when agreeing to the hose quoted at $100. They then got it over the $300 mark as EFTPOS with an additional charge to a 17-year-old kid. If the whole lot couldn’t have been done by a professional mechanic in the time allocated to the original fuel filter booking for replacement plus the hose.  I’d think twice before booking any major works here.

SM Mechanical is the place that I always go to fix any of my vehicle’s issues, they are reliable and honest mechanics. Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing service from Steve the owner and his team, the car went in ready for the scrap yard and came out as a new car. I had the biggest list of jobs to be done, on no notice I showed up unannounced and the car was ready 2 days later even having heard they were fully booked on top of everything the engine needed they even did overtime to make sure I left a happy customer even going above and beyond with tidying the interior of my messy car!
