GKJ Mechanical is a light vehicle and diesel workshop in Salisbury South GKJ Mechanical is located at 26C Acrylon Road, Salisbury South, South Australia, serving greater Adelaide. Proudly South Australian owned and operated, they combine an old school work ethic with current electronic diagnostic capabilities, working across passenger vehicles, 4x4s and SUVs as well as heavy diesel and fleet assets. They specialise in air conditioning, brakes and transmission work, and also provide a full range of servicing, mechanical and body repair services. What servicing is available in Salisbury South? Logbook and basic servicing is carried out to the manufacturer's schedule, which keeps a new car warranty valid. Their diagnostic capability uses OEM level software to accurately pinpoint and resolve complex electronic and mechanical faults, so a vehicle is assessed properly rather than worked through by elimination. Pre purchase inspections are also available for buyers wanting a vehicle assessed before committing. What transmission, clutch and driveline repairs do they carry out? Transmission work is one of their specialisations, covering repairs across manual and automatic vehicles, along with clutch and differential work. Timing belt and chain replacement is also handled, which is preventative work that costs considerably less than the engine damage a failure causes. What brake, suspension and steering work is available in Adelaide? Brakes are another specialisation, covering inspection, servicing and repair. Suspension and steering work is carried out alongside this, together with chassis repairs, addressing how a vehicle stops, handles and rides. Tyres and wheel repairs are also available. What diesel and heavy vehicle work do they provide? Their diesel division handles diesel engine diagnostics, heavy machinery rebuilds, repairs and performance tuning. For operators running mixed fleets, having light vehicle and heavy diesel capability in the one business means every asset can be looked after through a single point of contact. Is their air conditioning service a specialty? Air conditioning is one of their three specialisations, covering servicing and repairs across vehicle climate systems. Cooling system work is handled alongside it, along with engine repairs, auto electrical work and battery supply and replacement. Do they service electric and hybrid vehicles? Electric and hybrid vehicles are catered for, alongside conventional petrol and diesel vehicles. These require specific knowledge and equipment, and the workshop is set up to service and repair them. What body and cosmetic repairs are available? The workshop also handles smash repair and body work, scratch and dent repairs, auto glass, auto trimming, tailgate repairs and accessory installation. That means accident damage and cosmetic work can be dealt with alongside mechanical servicing rather than requiring a separate provider. GKJ Mechanical provides logbook servicing, transmission, brake and air conditioning specialist work, diesel repairs, body work and diagnostics for drivers and fleet operators across Adelaide. ... view more

I went to GKJ to have my brake pads replaced, as my breaks had been grinding i anticipated i would need my rotors replaced. They were honest and the rotors were fine and weren't in need of replacing, they also gave the best quote for the job in the area. They seem to be a new mechanic in the ares but I wouldnt hesitate to take my car there again. Thanks GKJ.
