Wills Tyres and Mechanical is a tyre and mechanical workshop in Oberon Wills Tyres and Mechanical is a privately owned tyre and mechanical business at 41 Dart Street, Oberon, New South Wales, in the Central West of the state. Nick Wills has managed the business since 2002, and there is more than 37 years of experience in the trade behind it. They fit tyres to just about anything with a wheel, from cars and light trucks through to lawnmowers and earthmovers, and they run a mechanical workshop alongside the tyre side of the business. What tyres does Wills Tyres and Mechanical supply? They stock most of the popular brands, covering passenger cars, SUVs, 4WDs, utes, light trucks and trailers, along with the smaller and much larger fitments that mower, machinery and earthmoving work calls for. Wheel balancing and wheel alignments are done on site, and puncture repairs are handled for road vehicles and machinery alike. Because the range runs from a mower tyre right up to an earthmover tyre, a property owner with several different machines can deal with the one workshop for all of them. What mechanical work is carried out in Oberon? General servicing keeps cars and light trucks maintained, and they take on mechanical repairs across the vehicle, including suspension and exhaust work. Auto electrical work is available at the workshop, and car and 4WD batteries are supplied and fitted. Registration inspections, known in New South Wales as pink slips, are also carried out here, so a vehicle can be inspected and any faults found can be repaired in the same place. Do they come out to farms? Yes. On farm service is part of what they provide, which means tyres on tractors, implements, machinery and farm utes can be dealt with where the machine is working instead of being brought into town. It covers repairs and replacements on equipment that is difficult or slow to move, and it is one of the reasons the business handles such a wide spread of tyre sizes. Can they look after business and fleet vehicles? Yes. Fleet and business customers around Oberon use them for tyre supply and fitting, wheel alignments, servicing, mechanical repairs and registration inspections. Having a tyre range that takes in light trucks, trailers and plant suits operators running a mix of vehicles and equipment, and the on farm service means work vehicles and machinery can be attended to on site rather than sitting idle. With Nick Wills at the helm since 2002, Wills Tyres and Mechanical covers tyres, mechanical repairs and on farm service for Oberon and the surrounding Central West. ... view more
