I knew as soon as I dropped my vehicle off for the service that it was in good hands. David was welcoming, we chatted about the service and needs of the vehicle. I inquired about an optional extra that could be included in the service itself as well as an intermittent electrical issue. I picked my vehicle up as requested in the afternoon and with the service completed. David advised that on further examination the optional extra was not required so that was not done, which I am wrapped about because many businesses would just do unnecessary work with unnecessary costs. This is the clincher for me and I know that I'm not going to be ripped off in the future. There were a couple of other things without charge. The trust thing is really important to me as myself like many others have been ripped off by unnecessary repairs and charges, particularly by major service companies who charge high hourly rates, replace parts that aren't broken. One of the reasons I inquired on the fixed price website was following a ridiculous quote for servicing a vehicle. I've since discovered that one of my friends also experiences the same quality and trustworthy service from Halvorson's Motor Repairs. I'll definitely be taking my vehicles there for services in the future and recommend anyone else to do the same.

Very happy with the overall process and would use again. Only two small negatives that stopped me giving 5 stars. When I got home and reviewed the service paperwork it mentioned that there was an item that failed that they recommended replacing - think it was the brake fluid. I would have preferred a call during the day to tell me this and I would have approved it to proceed, Now I will have to book it back in to have this done. Also, the courtesy car has definitely seen better days. Other than that all good.
