9 months ago, Midas Campsie did a major log book service to my car (Change spark plug for 6 cylinder including change brake fluid, oil etc), I was satisfied with the service so I went to see them again for a regular log book service (after travelling 12,000km) this May 2017, I left my car there and they said they will call me after few hours. They called me and said that my brake fluid is dirty and need changing, apart from that, they also said that I need to change the wiper blade and some other things that including wheel alignment. I then looked at the check list of the things they did 9 months ago during the major log book service and guess what? It was mentioned there that they have changed the brake fluid and also the wiper blades, I can understand the wiper blades that could be bad (but it was still good when I checked it) but my main concern is the brake fluid that they said it's and need to be flushed replaced again while according to them was changed 9 months ago. There are only 3 possibilities, 1) they did not really changed the brake fluid 9 month ago and said they did 2) it wasn't really dirty and they just want me to pay extra 3) that they changed the brake fluid 9 months ago and that the brake fluid is now really become dirty. I will replace the brake fluid today and see if it will become dirty after 12,000km. but overall rating for Midas is OK

Things that are good with my service: - Good customer service - free chocolate and 2x movie ticket (Thank you very much!) -Mechanic and cashier were easy to deal with -Close to my home Something to think about: -Service didn't include flushing (both change oil and transmission), not like my previous mechanic) -Used Gulf Western oil instead of Honda brand transmission oil -Oil wasn't fully synthetic -No vacuum/car wash but was stated in my confirmation -No free loan care but was stated in my confirmation I appreciate the good customer service but have a few points to think about, which makes me think not the best quality service for the price. But sill a big "Thank You" to the team.
