I arrived at the service centre at about 7:20, the mechanic was just opening the gates and the workshop. He advised that the office was just opening too and the customer service team member soon open the gate to the office. She had all the morning jobs printed out and ready to go and I was in and out in about 5 mins. At about 8:00 am the mechanic phoned to let me know my car needed the tyres rotated and that a cap was missing from an air conditioning valve. My car was ready at 4:45 pm when i arrived to pick it up I paid and left. Overall it was good service, my only complaint is they both the customer service team member and the mechanic (along with my printed receipt) told me that I had received a complimentary car wash and vacuum, this didn't happen. I had given the car a quick wash and vacuum the night before and in the morning when driving to the service centre had noticed a mark on the windscreen it was still there and I hadn't done a very good job on the wheel and they were still the same and there was a patch still under drivers door. I think they saw the car had been washed and assumed they had done it, I can see what happened and I was a bit amused next time I should take a dirty car to them :)

Fantastic service from Morris. We accidentally provided him the wrong contact number and Morris couldn't get hold of us to advise that we urgently needed new brake pads. One of the guys drove out to us to knock on the door and get the right contact number and advise of the urgent need to replace our brakes. We were local so he also picked us up when the car was ready! Top job on the service, a logbook service done better than than dealer. Without a doubt the best mechanic we've ever been to. 9 months ago, Midas Campsie did a major log book service to my car (Change spark plug for 6 cylinder including change brake fluid, oil etc), I was satisfied with the service so I went to see them again for a regular log book service (after travelling 12,000km) this May 2017, I left my car there and they said they will call me after few hours. They called me and said that my brake fluid is dirty and need changing, apart from that, they also said that I need to change the wiper blade and some other things that including wheel alignment. I then looked at the check list of the things they did 9 months ago during the major log book service and guess what? It was mentioned there that they have changed the brake fluid and also the wiper blades, I can understand the wiper blades that could be bad (but it was still good when I checked it) but my main concern is the brake fluid that they said it's and need to be flushed replaced again while according to them was changed 9 months ago. There are only 3 possibilities, 1) they did not really changed the brake fluid 9 month ago and said they did 2) it wasn't really dirty and they just want me to pay extra 3) that they changed the brake fluid 9 months ago and that the brake fluid is now really become dirty. I will replace the brake fluid today and see if it will become dirty after 12,000km. but overall rating for Midas is OK
