On booking the service through the agent a card was promised for holidays , after the service I am yet to hear anything from the agency . This is not the responsibility of the people doing the service rather the booking company.

I booked my logbook service at 10am. I went on time. The staff said they only collect the car in the morning, the service would be done in noon. I was not expecting that and was not informed beforehand. I had no transport to go home and come back to pick up my car. I had to wait for more than 3 hours for the service.

I was surprised at the money I saved by not getting my car service done by the car dealer. My invoice definitely listed all the log book service requirements to maintain my warranty. I've only given 4 stars because I was verbally advised that my brakes were still okay, but I didn't get any facts, such as an estimate of mileage or depth of lining left on the pads/discs. I will consider using them again.

I knew the air filter housing was Not properly locked by the previous mechanic who service my car. The owner told me wheni picked up my car that it was not closed properly. I knew then he properly checked all corners of the engine coz the clips of the housing were hidden behind the housing. Engine was running smoother after service

I'd like to personally thank the whole team from DC Automotive Pty Ltd! Firstly, I was welcomed into the office by Dave and he knew exactly who I was (I had an early 8am booking). We had a good old chat about the car and if there was a possibility of other work needing to be done to it he would let me know. I got a lift home from one of the mechanics - very handy considering I was about 5k from home. The service was for a MY 12.5 VW Passat Diesel Wagon and it needed a new timing belt - a big job! A quick phone call later in the afternoon confirmed the price. They were on the mark as quoted and even changed another belt but didn't charge me labor for it which was really nice of them. I was offered to be picked up from my house and taken back to my car - how good is that? I planned to get a taxi, so the pick up was extremely handy and I had a nice chat on the way there.Dave showed me all of the parts that were replaced and talked me through it which was very handy. All in all the car was given the thumbs up by Dave and nothing else could be found. He gave me some handy advice which I will keep in mind for the future. If you are looking for an honest, reliable, friendly and professional mechanic - Dave and the team are for you. Owning a European car is always a worry, but not any longer. I am really looking forward to my next service and would definitely recommend DC Automotive Pty Ltd.
