The 7-Eleven Fuel Card is one of the many options available to Australian businesses to help manage their fleet fuel expenses.

With the 7-Eleven Fuel Card, cardholders can access fuel discounts at over 550 7-Eleven fuel stores across QLD, VIC, NSW, ACT and WA.

At these stores, you’ll find Mobil petrol and diesel fuel at the bowsers, ranging from Special E10 (94), Unleaded (91), Extra (95) Supreme+ (98) and Special Diesel.

7-Eleven’s fuel card is advertised as being simple to join, with no lock-in contracts. They also boast a range of card types so that you can find the best one suited to your business.

What are the benefits of the 7-Eleven Fuel Card?

During your first six months, save 8c per litre on fuel. After the first six months, save a minimum of 2c per litre on regular petrol and diesel. If you’re buying premium fuel, you can save a minimum of 4 cents per litre.

You can also choose which products can be purchased using your Fuel Card. This ranges from Fuel only, Fuel & Vehicle (which includes oils & car wash), and the 7-Eleven Shop.

Online management - View statements, make card changes, order additional cards or report lost cards via your online account.

Easy accounting - Receive monthly statements that include all transaction details. Access annual tax summaries, FBT and quarterly BAS statements. Note: Accessing these may incur additional fees.

What are the card options?

Driver and vehicle card - Only the nominated driver in the nominated vehicle can use the fuel card.

Drivers only card - Only the nominated driver can use this card.

Vehicle detailed card - This card can only be used for the nominated vehicle embossed on the card.

How much does it cost to join?

There is no joining fee.

Are there other fees?

Card issue fee - waived

Transaction fee (all cards) - $0.35

Visa/Mastercard processing fees - 1.3%

American Express processing fee - 2.1%

Late fee - 2.75% of overdue amount

Late payment admin fee - $25

Is there an interest-free period?

Yes. The 7-Eleven Fuel Card offers up to 44 days days interest free on new transactions.

What is the eligibility criteria?

You must be at least 18 years of age and you cannot be a temporary resident.

What do you need to apply for a 7-Eleven Fuel Card?

  • Your company ABN
  • Contact details of at least 2 trade references
  • Your bank payment details
  • An acknowledgement that any credit provided by the fuel card is wholly or predominantly for the purposes of business or investment.
  • Your personal, contact, residential, employment and financial details
  • Your card type, vehicle details, card product selection, card delivery method and any reporting services required
