Car service went well and was very straight forward. Their communication could improve. I got to the shop and was told my booking was not actually confirmed despite receiving a confirmation email. They did not record my phone number correctly despite my dictating it at the shop, so I did not hear from them throughout the day until I called to check in. And I was asked 'where I was from' because of my last name, which was frankly uncomfortable.

I had a transmission problem with my 2013 Ford Mondeo and had difficulty finding a mechanic to fix it. Then I discovered Jimmy of Verified Autoshop. Well, what a gift from heaven. Jimmy has years of experience and is happy to advise various solutions for me to choose from, he is very personable and is an all round good bloke. Jimmy agreed to work on my car. They were extremely thorough and professional in giving my vehicle a 100,000km service,with attention to detail such as "seat belt" wear,faulty side mirror,the need for a timing belt replacement in the near future. I initially had my reservations about using this service as it was my first time. Laura and the team at Formula Automotive put my doubts to rest with their helpful and friendly service. They were upfront with any extras that needed to be done and the costs involved. They also made helpful recommendations. Overall was really pleased with the service and the cost.
