Service is absolutely exceptional and unparalleled! Thank you to the team who was able to help accommodate my requests and go above and beyond in a timely manner

Bridgestone Select Tyre & Auto Hendra combines a tyre shop and a mechanical workshop in Brisbane's north east Bridgestone Select Tyre & Auto Hendra is a tyre and car servicing centre at 148 Gerler Road, Hendra, in Brisbane's inner north east, Queensland. Qualified mechanics and tyre technicians work side by side at the site, so a vehicle can go in for a logbook service and come out with new tyres and a wheel alignment done at the same time. They work on hatchbacks, sedans, SUVs, 4WDs and work utes, and the workshop was named a finalist in the 2025 AutoGuru Top Mechanics Awards. What car servicing do they carry out? Logbook servicing is completed to manufacturer specifications, which keeps a new car warranty protected, and general vehicle servicing is available for cars that are out of their logbook period. Their mechanics explain what work a vehicle needs before starting, so there are no surprises when the job is finished. Vehicle safety inspections are part of what they do, and they issue Queensland safety certificates for vehicles being sold or re registered. What mechanical repairs do they handle? The workshop takes on brake repairs, steering and suspension work, CV boot and CV joint replacement, and general mechanical repairs across most makes and models. Car batteries are tested and replaced as well. Because the mechanical side sits alongside the tyre bays, wear picked up during a service on things like tyres, alignment or suspension can be dealt with straight away rather than at a second appointment. What tyres and tyre services do they provide? Their tyre range covers car, 4x4 and SUV tyres as well as light truck tyres, in a spread of brands and price points. On the service side they carry out wheel alignments, puncture repairs and run flat tyre repairs, and they put together wheel and tyre packages for customers changing the look or fitment of a vehicle. Staff will go through the options and match a tyre to the way the vehicle is driven. What can customers expect at the centre? The Hendra store has a customer waiting area with tea and coffee facilities for people staying while work is carried out, and a pick up service is available in the local area for those who need to leave the vehicle and get on with their day. What do they provide for fleet operators? Fleet and business vehicles are handled with the same servicing, tyre supply, alignment and safety certificate work, which suits operators running utes, vans and light trucks around the airport and Eagle Farm industrial area nearby. Bridgestone Select Tyre & Auto Hendra looks after tyres, servicing and repairs for drivers across Brisbane's north east. ... view more

Absolutely excellent service! As a young female, it’s hard to find a mechanic that is trustworthy. Even after with having done a lot of DIY maintenance on my car, I’ve still had a lot of different shops trying to rip me off. I went to the guys at Car One Hendra after I was given a suspicious $800+ quote from another mechanic, who stated that the reason my AC gas had leaked after they refilled it, was due to a blocked drainage hose. These guys really went above and beyond to help get my car’s AC fixed, provided a detailed report of what they tested and the results found. My AC is now icy cold and only cost $250. Highly recommend these guys to anyone!

Great service.

Logbook servicing, brakes and mechanical repairs at Ultra Tune Bowen Hills Ultra Tune Bowen Hills is a family owned car service centre at 1/19 Taylor Street, Bowen Hills, on the inner northern edge of Brisbane, Queensland, handling servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs across all makes and models. It is owned and operated by Ross Thompson, who has owned and run Ultra Tune centres for more than 15 years and has spent longer than that working in vehicle servicing. The centre is set up as a general workshop, so a car can go in for a routine service, a repair, tyres or an inspection without being sent elsewhere for the next job. What does a logbook service cover here? Logbook servicing is carried out to the vehicle manufacturer's schedule, which keeps a new car's warranty valid while the work is done at Bowen Hills. The team records the service against the logbook, uses the specified parts and oils, and reports on anything found along the way, so owners of vehicles still inside their warranty period can keep their servicing on schedule. What mechanical repairs and maintenance do they handle? Brakes are a regular part of the workload, from inspections through to pad, disc and hydraulic repairs, and the same applies to suspension and shock absorbers. Air conditioning is serviced and repaired in the workshop under their refrigerant handling authorisation, batteries are tested and replaced, and general repairs and diagnostic work cover the faults that come up between services. Petrol and diesel vehicles are both looked after. Can they sort tyres, wheels and alignment? Tyres and wheels are supplied and fitted at the centre, with a range of sizes and brands to suit most vehicles on the road. Wheel alignment and balancing are done using their alignment equipment, which is worth pairing with new tyres or after suspension work. Do they do safety certificate inspections? Yes. Queensland safety certificate inspections are available at Bowen Hills, and the inspection also gives the owner a report on the overall mechanical condition of the vehicle, which is useful when a car is about to be sold or transferred. What can fleets and work vehicles expect? Businesses running work utes, vans and small fleets around inner Brisbane use the centre for scheduled servicing, repairs and inspections, with the same logbook and safety certificate work applied to commercial vehicles. Qualifying services also come with 12 months of roadside assistance, which is a practical addition for a vehicle that spends its week on the road. From a first logbook service to brakes, tyres and safety certificates, Ultra Tune Bowen Hills covers the ongoing care of cars and work vehicles in this part of Brisbane. ... view more
